Senior Project Manager
Effectively manage and realize large-sized CATAMARAN Enterprise RFID and Mobility software implementation projects for Shipcom's customers. Execute fundamental project management processes. Manage client relations and expectations. Lead project team. Proactively anticipate client needs and concerns; resolve quickly; and communicate with Shipcom's Operations management, Development and Sales team.

Document, realize and test required CATAMARAN RFID and Mobility functionality. Performance based upon client satisfaction and referenceability, implementation time and costs, service revenue and communications.

Qualified applicants will have 2-4 years of software implementation / project management experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent education and experience.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Understand customer's business requirements, in particular in Extended Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing/Logistics and Retail area. Detailed knowledge of interfacing methodology of one of the leading ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Oracle Apps, Siebel, …) as well as MS-SQL is a pre-requisite.
  • Scope project implementation, time and resource requirements.
  • Kick off implementation activity once contract is signed.
  • Document and realize/configure the required CATAMARAN functionality.
  • Oversee project team - motivation, coaching, and performance.
  • Proactively address client issues and concerns.
  • Strategically view next steps in client direction.
  • Ensure project implementation is on time and within budget
  • Liaison with internal operations management, development and sales team.
  • Monitor and communicate project status to client and Shipcom's operations management.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and referenceability.
  • Assist sales team in vertical regarding professional services component.
  • Provide feedback to product strategy and development
  • Coordinate with Customer Support (Testing, documentation).
  • Willing to travel.
