Operations Research Manager

This person will be assisting sales team in all technical and solution aspects of then sales cycle. He will report directly to the Vice President Sales and will facilitate revenue goals by providing consistent, high quality, solution and technical support and assistance as well as input on the qualification of prospects and the creation of business strategies to secure the sale.
Location: Houston (preferable)

Job duties: This person will be directly responsible for:.

• Define data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical/analytical tests.
• Formulate models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
• Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems.
• Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.
• Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
• Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
• Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions.
• Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions.
• Break systems into their component parts, assign numerical values to each component, and examine the mathematical relationships between them.
• Specify manipulative or computational methods to be applied to models.

Applicants must possess the following Minimum education, training and experience:

• A Master's degree
• 24 months of previous experience in the above job related categories
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Exceptional presentation and communications skills
• Should be a consistent goal achiever.
  

Wages will be paid as per 40 hrs/ wk.
