Director of User Interface/Experience
Director of User Experience will evangelize and institutionalize this critical discipline and will lead the User Experience practice which is responsible for interactive design, creative / visual design, and information architecture to ensure a world-class user experience. This person will be working closely with the Product Mangers and Development Team.

Qualified applicants will have 5+ years of experience designing User interfaces for Application software and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction or equivalent.

• Translates product requirements, business needs and user needs into user interface designs.
• Works closely with Product specialists on an on-going basis to help identify user research needs, usability requirements, and on a project basis to coordinate prototype studies for iterative design methods.
• Works proactively in a team setting consisting of many roles to provide communication and to solve issues and problems.
• Oversees medium-sized projects including planning, design, coordination between related design efforts, and evaluating over-all design consistency needs.
• Conducts competitive analyses and other design research.
• Help develop and maintain the group design processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with product branding is desirable.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of information design and interface design principles, a good understanding of new technology. Understands the relationship between content, user interface, business, marketing and technology.
• Proven track record of working with large and small software or website projects and achieving a positive user response.
• Creative problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous project and effectively prioritize work items.
• Proficient skills in prototyping tools, graphic creation tools, flowcharting, graphic optimization, and writing functional specifications.
• Some project management, process, team leadership and mentoring skills.
