Tour with Clinton a Success for South Asian Businesses

HOUSTON - SACC chairman Lutfi Hassan joined president Clinton's
official delegation in New Delhi, and as a result South Asian
were well represented throughout this visit.
"It was a fascinating experience to witness the activities throughtout India with the President of the United States and particularly to back to my birthplace was an unforgettable experience," said Hassan who hails form Hyderabad.
"I want to give all the credit to our Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee for making sure that I got included in all the inportant events. I know for a fact that very few people got invited to all the events in India," commented Hassan.
SACC Advisory Board Member & IT entreprenuer Abeezar Tyebji who is also Hyderabadi, joined Hassan for the the event at Hi-tech City in Hyderabad which is now know as "Cyderabad" synonymous with the Cyber Technology.
Hassan introduced Congresswomen Shelia Jackson Lee, who broke the ranks with other conressional members to meet with various local MP's, MLAs, and entreprenuers.
"All of them were very impressed with Shelia for being so friendly an courteous," said Hassan who sat through the event with celebrity actress cum parliamentarian Jaya Pradha.
Congresswoman Shelia jackson Lee plans to hold a meeting with the South Asian business and community leaders to update them with the outcome of the trip to the South Asiancountries and share the President's perspective on various issues. |
